Who are we ?

Founded in 2022, Traductions du Sud-Ouest (tradu-SO) is based near Cahors, in the Occitanie region of France, and is run by Karl Wilson. The choice of Cahors and the South-West in general was obvious because of the strong historical, cultural and tourist links with the Anglo-Saxon world.

Karl Wilson is a full member of SFT, the French Society of Translators, and is a sworn expert translator and interpreter with the Court of Appeal of Agen with a nationwide competency.

Karl is also a full member of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI) and was its National President until 2016. He is also certified by NAATI (the Australian Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) for interpretation between French and English.
